Pressure is On with Two Weeks To Go

The Pressure Is On; Don't Give In

The constant political ads, outright lies from the President, mailers and more have been exhausting for many voters across the country and we still have two weeks to go.  We all have to keep our focus on the issues that are important to us and the fantastic candidates we have that will help turn them into better policy.  From Claire McCaskill running on protecting health care, to Nicole Galloway who fights corruption at all levels of government, to our state legislative candidates who will balance the scales in Jefferson City, Democrats should be very excited to talk about these races with friends and family. We are right on the issues and momentum is on our side. Just two weeks left to victory!

Candidate Profile: Keri Ingle for State Representative, District 35

By now, you have seen something from Keri Ingle who is running in one of the most critical House Districts in the state. One of many first-time candidates who decided they wanted to be part of the solution after the 2016 election Keri is a Licensed Master Social Worker and mother of two, Keri sees the challenges regular Missourians face every day like healthcare costs, public safety and quality education options. The daughter of a military family, Keri and her husband Kenny planted roots in Lee's Summit a decade ago and has worked to serve the community since through courtrooms, hospitals, schools and now hopefully in the State House.

The 35th District is a great opportunity for a Democratic gain but also exactly the kind of area state-wide Democrats will need to perform well in to ensure victory as we hope to maintain and later regain executive offices. Keri has been a model candidate making thousands of voter contacts and building a broad coalition of allies working to benefit the community they share, not just herself.
